The Sony Ericsson Vivaz is stunningly appealing and enigmatic

The Sony Ericsson Vivaz offers sumptuous levels of technology enhanced by an aesthetically appealing style. This smart phone utilises a 720 MHz processor, as its main processing unit, whilst endearing itself to the populous with an impressive camera and internet access offering. The handset measures 107 mm x 51 mm wide whilst being 12 mm thick. The unit weighs 97 g in weight. The Sony Ericsson Vivaz offers numerous connectivity options which include high-speed 10.2 Mbps internet access, via its HSDPA connection as well as including Wi Fi connectivity. The phones 3.2 inch TFT touch screen offers an emphatic and colourful display screen, with imagery of outstanding clarity and vibrancy by virtue of the 16 million colour display capabilities of the screen. In addition the integrated accelerometer sensor automatically amends image aspect in relation to the display screens orientation.

The phones 8.0 megapixel camera is one of the largest resolution cameras available within a handset and provides imagery of outstanding quality. To aid the user, a variety of options are available which include auto focus, touch focus, face and smile detection as well as an LED flash for illumination purposes. Location referencing or geo-tagging as it is more generally known as, is also provided. Video recording at 1280 x 720 pixel resolution is available by virtue of the camera’s ability to record video footage and also comes with a video light.

The aforementioned 720 MHz processor provides sufficient processing power to ensure that the functionality performs in an effective and efficient manner. The handset utilises the Symbian series 60 operating system which has become renowned as a stable operating system. The PowerVR SGX graphics feature ensures enhanced levels of graphic clarity and imagery.

The Sony Vivaz is a social media handset which is testified by the inclusion of Facebook and Twitter applications and YouTube and Picasa integration. Entertainment is provided by the built-in media player and stereo FM radio whilst the included organiser, document reader, voice memo and Google maps provides additional features that are all eminently usable.
