The Samsung Galaxy S3 and HTC One X are two of the most popular and impressive smartphones currently on the market. They are both great example of the best Android phones available, as both of these handsets have massively contributed to the success of the operating system. In fact, Android has recently exceeded sales of Apple smartphones. In this article, I will compare some key features of the One X and the Galaxy S3 to see was which one comes out on top.
Samsung and HTC are two of the biggest smartphone manufacturers in the world. Of course, Samsung is already a household name in the electronics industry and manufactures a wide array of different products. HTC on the other hand is solely a smartphone and tablet manufacturer, but enjoys great sales nonetheless.
Both HTC and Samsung are responsible for the success of Android, thanks largely to some of their previous handsets which have been bestsellers. The Samsung Galaxy S2 (predecessor to the Galaxy S3) and the HTC Desire are two of the top selling Android smartphones of all time. Both are capable of displaying high definition content thanks to and a resolution of 720x 1280. Another notable feature of these handsets which they share in common is their quad-core processors. This is the next generation smartphone processor technology, and brings numerous benefits across many aspects of the handsets’ performance. The HTC One X has a 1.5 GHz chip, whereas that of the Samsung Galaxy S3 clocks in at 1.4 GHz, making these two of the most powerful smartphones on the market in terms of processing power.
As cameraphones, these handsets are also among the best. They both have an 8 mega pixel camera, and as you may expect are able to capture video footage in resolutions of up to 1080p which is full high definition.
